I never really liked that version because the end caps are plastic that screws on and i once had issues with leaking gas. I used Teflon tape i think at the threads. I just got these in from the company NCY in Taiwan. I have them in both a Long version and Short version.

The best Fuel Filter I have found is this one, it is very strong and catches the tiniest of particles and a side benefit is you can clean it by reverse flow and reuse it and it is not expensive. Alleyoop

I have one similar except metal ends on my outboard motor fuel line that I got either at walmart in the boat section or a auto parts store.

I used a fuel filter like this inline with a 9HP outboard motor and 6 gal tank. it worked good.

What is the best fuel line to attach to either end? I understand that the stock fuel lines need replaced ASAP.

Best fuel lines go to any auto parts store if it's good for cars it sure is good for our little scoot. Cars create a lot more heat under the hood than our little 1 cyl bangers do. Alleyoop

Varying tips to accommodate the different line diameters as well. That is a darn nice looking filter. Ill have to swing by advance auto and see if my store has em. If they do ill pick up a couple for the tractors and the scooter.
