It just took 4 or 5 tries getting a post up on the tsa thread. I kept getting an angry bear excuse for them.
Yesterday I was changing operating system on this netbook and one I tried could not log on to scooterdoc, said password was wrong while the same one on big computer worked fine. After changing the password several times with the big computer I gave up and put a different operating system on that still would not connect up. Today I finally got on with the net book. I think proboards bit off more than they could chew with the new crap. Your not supposed to fix what works.

I totally agree, I have been running into different stuff with V5 sometimes it will not log you off and then it starts with register or put in your email and all kinds of stuff. Also I am still getting pop up of videos on the side of the forum I have tried pop blocker and if you go to far with it then if someone puts a link up and you go click on it won't do it and asks allow or not allow BS at the bottom of the page. The thing is it just started to happen so something changed none of this was happening before on the other two forums. Now all three the crap is happening.

Ow Mike, mee-ow! Yes, I agree that Proboards was like a lot of companies that plan a big change, everybody is supposed to put on a positive face and keep the negativity out of the boardroom. I got a feeling when I was talking to Proboards that something was afoot when I asked about the switch being pulled on Scooter Doc the first of January. The answer, from a very nice man mind you, was you are in the queue and the switch will happen in the next few weeks and it may take a few minutes to days. Huh? That was the best stall I've gotten since Sally, in the ninth grade, said "maybe, if you get rid of those zits." What perturbed me was the sign in process. We can handle things once they're on the forum but if they can't get here Alley and me can't do anything. Things are calming down and I kinda figured it would be like this having dealt with corporate America off and on my whole life. Proboards is a for profit corporation, believe me, they'll be busting hump to fix things.

Hi Yall I did the proboards sign in thingy 3, 4 or 5 months a go. But I still had to kick it ,it and through home made cherry bombs at it in addistion to reseting my pass word 3,4 times Just to get here.

P.S. What did you do Kz lock luke up in a trunk some were? Or maybe thegot him>>> LOL.

Hey Guys & Girls I have a nice little work around for the Resent post button that we all loved and was so used to a the TOP of the page. Ok from the Home page scroll down to the Resent post button click on it. Then when Resent post page loads Right click on it and save to a favorites spot you like then pick a thread you want. Make a post then click on your new Resent post favorites link. There you go still signed in to the newest Resent post.

Our admin has got things right the way it looks but proboards probably still has a way to go. I go to another proboard not about scooters and it looks like it is all the same old format and has continued to work fine all the while we had problems here. I go to another that is using linux based software and they pay their own hosting fees. They have 8000 members and quite a few more posts per day and it seems to have a lot less glitchs than proboards since they got their software running a couple years back. As been said proboards is a money making deal so they have a good reason to get it right.
