Hey Docs, I got the requested buttons up. There's new threads and new posts. The threads is a bit misleading, they are threads that have been updated, which makes them new. I also put up a RSS button, that is a great way to stay updated, you just enroll in it. There's no sales involved, it's perfectly safe. If you don't like it just drop out.

I'm also working on the vendors banners but I think we'll try something a little different. It should give them more exposure but be more aesthetically pleasing. The old ones were dinosaurs from Scoot Dawg's coding!

You guys should take advantage of the participated button at the top right of the site. It gives you updates on everything you participated in.

Good job Bashan, I wasn't going to ask about the banners I figured you would get to it when you had time.

Yeah Jim, I'm on it. I figure the rotation banners give limited exposure. If your not up there when somebody looks up there they don't see you. I think a static tile would work better. If we have a string of them across the top your tile would be there all the time. I've just been so busy with work, the forum, and repairing computers I haven't had a chance to look into it in depth. Hopefully I'll have them up by this weekend at the latest. My wife is a web designer and she's going to help. She just picked up two big accounts and she's going to find time this weekend. On top of that we had six burst pipes from the cold snap and $20K in damage. Luckily the insurance came through for us. It's been fun lately. Oh, and Alley wants a gazillion smileys and emoticons added to the menu. What the big dude wants he gets. He's kinda scary.

Man, this is a weird thread!! Hey Jim, I made a tile banner, I have two sizes. I'll post them here to see how they would look on the site. Also, I can change the content or colors if you want. Just tell me what you think. But, remember, I'm the sensitive artist type.

The top one is 250X250, of course it looks better but I want to fit them in a row across the top of the site. I set the site at 900 pixels, or close to it, I can't remember exactly. So the 250 would only allow 3 or 4 tiles while the 120 would give me enough for 7 or even 8 if I tweaked them. Hey what do you guys think? Is the bottom readable? You lose a little detail when you reduce with the Paint program. I think it looks OK. Rich
