When I got my scoot it was in the summer. Set the AF for that temp range ( highest idle)
My question is now that its colder, if I richen the mixture should the RPMS increase as well to tell me where the sweet spot is? What if richening actually lowers the rpms?

It all depends you may not notice much of a change in rpms the tachs are not accurate to being with so the best is using your hearing. Usually the rpms will rise like 100-200 which on the tachs is very hard to see the difference. Alleyoop

Yes, you're right TW, the idle may go up or down. There's no hard and fast rule. That's why it's better to go with this function oriented procedure. I thought Alley had one of these up but I didn't see it. Hey Alley, is that your A/F procedure, I liked that one the best. Rich
