I was testing to see if I could get photo on the forum.. It worked. The dash was knocked over in windstorm, put a crack half the length of dash board and I fixed with JB Weld and than put black carbon fiber wrap over it and looks good.

Since mirrors had originally lights on mirrors( turn signal lights). Well, you can see the lights on the windshield now. Thanks Alleyoop.. It is now the 7th year riding it..

Looks great man, nice fix. Seven years? Wow, how many miles do you have on it?

Bashan, I only put on 7100 miles on it thus far. It would have more miles, but took 1 year off, due to my ankle needed operating on. Blew the entire summer. The past 2 years, been riding long distance trips. Like from Jefferson City Missouri to Quincy IL... Keep new tires on it and do my owm work to save money. Most trips are less than 7 miles- like to gas station, store, ect.. around town. When long distant riding, I give my scooter a break every 30 to 40 miles. Rode mostly country highways but again in the past 2 years, more 70 mph expressways. Like the trip to Illinois was 70 mph highway, 65 mph highway and 55 mph highways.

Curved areas was a problem for me too. But figuring out the carbon fiber wrap is easier than one thinks.. I mean, I found out, the carbon fiber wrap does not still well to plastic( like the dash board or helmet shield DUE to curves). So I simply decided to put cuts into the carbon fiber wrap to see if it stuck good then. Well, it did and stuck very well. The carbon fiber wrap is also thin so one can't tell it is two or three pieces. I started cutting the carbon fiber wrap on the scooter, where it seemed to not stick- than it suddenly stuck. So you findout a lot about it from working with it. I also can't use my right hand well, due to a severe stroke at age 16. I will be 50 years old this year and that tells you I am better today, but still have difficulties getting fingers to do as I want. You would be much better than I.

Bashan, it seems I was a little off. 6916 is about all I got in miles. Close to 7000..
