Oh I assumed it was Illinois by the craigslist ad No. I was just showing the videos in response to "Chinese scooters are an unending source of troubles". A mere 28,000 miles in comparison to almost 80,000 miles shows the fallacy of that statement. The Xingyue is in Illinois. At its best it's a low budget version of a Kymco People 150. If I knew then what I know now I would have bought a 16" wheeled scooter.

Wheel replacement. The theory goes that if you keep up with the shoes the drum hangs in long enough to outlive the bike. Now cars are a different matter, of course, but it's pretty rare for a bike to out last the drum. I won't say it hasn't been done on a classic bike but it would seem to me that it's easier to buy a wheel.
