900 miles and the back brake bad? I wonder how hard it was ridden to wear out a brake that soon. Got to be a reason for it not to sell.

Well a new crate 150 costs $1,000.00 these days, so not a great deal based on the market. I don't recognize the manufacturer but they're not coming up on the searches as a problem. Yes, that's too high for that bike IMO. Is it water cooled? It kinda looks like my Pegasus. I agree on the back brake. If that is his bad riding habit what else happened? I'd offer $500.00, it is six years old and it has "scraps". It isn't a spring chicken. Is it running right now?

I picked up a scooter like that 35 miles from my home . The asking price was $425 , it was in decent shape . I haggled hard to $350 and rode it home with the wife behind me with tools and every spare part I could muster up . Turned out aside from a noisy front brake , it rode better than the bike I have that I was buying for parts .

As for the rear brake could be an easy fix . Till you get to look and find the problem you never know . The asking price is too much . If it were perfect about $750 is about right . Figure about $100 for the rear brake . How bad is it scratched up here and there from use or was it dropped . contact the seller see what you can find out , see if they are eager .

I'm betting this "Bad Rear Brake" is torn up pads and scoured disk. Since many people learned on their ten speed bicycles "Never use the front brake. You'll be thrown over the handlebars" that he stopped it hard for all those miles on the rear brake. If it's been on CL for as long as you say he's had numerous lower offers and didn't bite. Some people think they own the Hope Diamond and the bit about a full tank of gas is a dead giveaway.
It's a Xingyue. It was also known as the BMS Pathfinder. Once fully sorted and broken in it's a great bike capable of a real 55 mph all day.
Plus it has a gravity fed fuel system and won't be plagued with leaking fuel pumps and corroding electrical fuel pump .......Oh wait, it's not a Yamaha Morphous. Nevermind.

Oh, and Doc Rock, this guy was a former member here before Luke drove him off.
He had 41,000 on this same bike when Luke rudely insulted him and sent him packing. You can also see his Automoto video next to this one. He had 35,000 miles on it when he was crudely treated by Luke. A little addition and you can see he had 75,000 miles on his bikes, much more than a certain, leaking Morphous I could mention. Luke was so jealous he couldn't contain himself and his rage so he did his best to drive him away.

This is his other ride. He once added up his daily ride miles and showed he did 100 miles a day, plus extra weekend jaunts. All with GY6 power. It drove Luke insane and he did his best to slander and liable Automotoguys claims so the poor man left.
As you can see a Chinese scooter that's well prepared is a much bigger bargain than some scooters I could mention.

What do you do with a torn up rear drum? can you change the swept area liner? or do you just change the wheel?,,,,either way with Rich saying you can get them in the box for a grand ,,,$150 break in the price is not enough to sway me off of new,,,i like it alot better for $450-500

That Xingyue scooter has a rear disk Borg.
Automotoguy is in Georgia. He can ride nearly year round. His 150 scooter is a Baccio. They're among the better built, more expensive China scoots.

Oh I didn't know it was a disk ,, well that's an entirely different matter a very easy fix if the disk is shot,,, still like it for 450-500,,,,, by the way KZ how do you repair a bad drum? Is there a " bell" that's bolted in or pressed in? I was surprised that the et was a drum,, never investigated one so do not know
