Falling asleep while riding is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard...unless you have Narcolepsy in which case you should be riding or driving anything at all.

Of course falling asleep on anything is possible. Even behind the wheel of an SUV with a trailer. Actually it's probably even more possible with the SUV. A Rider would have spent the night before staying awake mentally kicking himself for not being good enough to ride the trip. Then he'd crash the SUV from lack of sleep.

Things seem to have gone off on a negative tangent here. I'll just ignore all that and say thanks for the link on commuting tips. It certainly gave me one or two pieces of info I hadn't previously considered.

It certainly gave me one or two pieces of info I hadn't previously considered. Sorry for the negative stuff. I commuted 50 miles round trip on a motorcycle for many years. It was on a crowded parkway and I had no problems. My commute now is a scant 35 miles there and back and riding saves me much money in fuel expense along with less wear and tear on the car. Riding lets me keep clunker autos around for years longer than they might normally last. Commuting by scooter is more fun and makes the trip to and from work a time of head clearing.

i too commute with my bikes, and enjoy the "head clearing" that the ride provides,,getting home with a smile and good frame of mind instead of grumpy cause i got caught in traffic,,,AGAIN
