What I do not understand is most states license them as a trike and with four wheels you should be licensing it as a car and not need a MC endorsement. As far as I know the states do not specify where the four wheels are to be located, its just assumed. Here in AZ, they license them as a two wheel MC since the kit can be taken off.

The benefit of a Voyager conversion is that it is cheaper than a full conversion, and can be attached or removed in just a few minutes, so you can do the long trip as a trike and make your passenger more comfy, then detach at your destination to go canyon carving or regular road riding.. I've been looking at them for a while now for my FJ1200..

Heck they make some fancy ones that are electric you can raise the two outside wheels and when your coming to a stop you can lower them. Or just leave them down all the time up to the rider. Alleyoop
