It look odd. It looked like a typical trike but it had 3 wheels accross the back. The 2 outer tires were smaller than a normal trike, almost looked like a scoot with training wheels!

Why did this person keep the rear wheel in the center?

Those are TRIKE KITS that go on TWO WHEEL RIDES: Like my 650 Burgman with a Voyager Trike kit on it. Notice where I hung my cane on it(HAHA). The other one is my Ice Bear Trike my expandable cane fits under the seat. Alleyoop

Why did this person keep the rear wheel in the center? The center wheel is still the drive wheel. The two outriggers serve exactly the same function as your kids training wheels did: to keep it from falling over

Yes, I am. Trying to get a thread energized. I will never be intentionally mean. If it seems like that it's a misunderstanding and I am sorry. Rich

having 3 wheel in the back is a bad design, if the middle wheel hits a rock or a huge bump,it might bend the chassis or the shaft if it's a japanese scooter, but if it's a chinese scooter, it will for sure break. LOL
don't settle for less...

What I do not understand is most states license them as a trike and with four wheels you should be licensing it as a car and not need a MC endorsement. As far as I know the states do not specify where the four wheels are to be located, its just assumed.

LOL..right again Alley! I ride my Silver Wing WITH a Voyager kite, yes 3 wheels in the rear, and have left my tracks in many states. Yes if the kit is installed right they make for a fine ride. Mine is the same as a Harly, 14in rims with radio tires. NICE..
