Yes, I try to be cryptic and make people think with humor. I come from an era of National Lampoon and I guess that double edged humor doesn't always translate well. I mean no offense. I'm just trying to get a laugh while trying to run a forum and trying to solve some scooter problems and hell...I don't know...I'm hitting the sack.

"Jonway" = scoter manufacturer and scooter parts manufacturer and distributer. Have 5 scooters from 50cc to 250cc all made in different Chinese factories, all have different distributers, one from the Jonway warehouse in Dallas but branded JCL.

Every single one of these scooters have some or all "Jonway" parts on them. Easy to see and find out, their headlight lens have the word and part number clearly on the lens. Want to hear a good one, my 50cc has Jonway/Italia on the headlight lens and Tripple CCC on the tail light lens, body parts from 3 others, the Chinese aren't picky on the assembly line, if it fits, it is built.

Fellow in Conway sells Jonway scooters branded and built by Jonway I'd bet money you can find a Tao-Tao with Jonway parts but haven't seen it myself, but I haven't looked. They build a good scooter.

Isn't Jonway one of the two companies that makes plastic panels in China? I'm sure Tao Tao must use them then.

Yes Jonway has their hand in a lot of things, even four wheelers and ATV's, they just don't make a big deal out of what they do.
