Ive seen some reports of cracked back plates on these. Anybody here have any issues like that? Im looking at them but will gladly spend the extra for the Dr Pulley if thats the case.

Two , for the 150cc they are worth every penny . As far as the 50cc I have not seen any reports . I have for the 150cc you pick the weight you want or you can for a few $ more exchange for sliders . The 50cc don't come with rollers .

This is the one I had and it looks very much like the Koso even down to the backplate logo. My concern is that there was too much play between the boss and variator. How does your product fit in a boss?  |

I've been really pleased with the Koso variator on my 125cc scoot. It released another 10mph top end out of mine so was a noticable difference.
My only concern at the time was that mine was the opposite to above, it was a little tight on the boss and wasn't smooth. All I had to do was polish up the bore and the boss and all was good then.
