I was wondering, as I look out at the freezing rain coming down, what kind of gas mileage you are getting on your scooter. I rode my 250cc Jonway to work daily during the summer and fall, and averaged around 81 mpg. I don't know what the 150cc gets--I haven't rode it much lately. I've heard some 50cc owners say they get around 70 mpg. Sounds kinda low to me. How about you? What do you ride and what kind of mpg do you get?

81 is great pal, you are doing something right. My 150s do well, around 60 to 70 MPG, but only if I keep my hand slack on the go handle. A common misconception is the smaller engine will always get the better mileage. Nope, it has to work harder and therefore sucks gas. So it's not a given that it will do better. My 250 CF Moto Fashion does about 60, but I have it pegged going to work. I'm sure it would do better if I eased off some. KZ has a 250 Fashion....hey bud....what MPG are you clocking? JR has extensive experience on 250s, maybe he can offer some input.

I get around 72 with the Fashion, 65 to 70 with the 150cc and up to 135 with the Cub clone. They all save me a heap of fuel in summer.
