Another beautiful day here in Springfield. I'd love to get out and ride BUT... today is the St. Patty's parade and boozefest downtown. My guess is there will be a higher than normal number of drunks out driving around. Do any of you take things like this into consideration when going out for a ride?

Nah. Drunks, drugged and distracted drivers are always with us. Just be extra careful at intersections, driveways and parking lot exits.

yeah i don't ride evenings on any of the "drinking" holidays,,,i'll go out during the day but when the sun goes down i beat feet home and hide out
