So I've heard that some scooters shipped as 50cc's actually end up with 72cc engines. Would it be possible to tell if you had one? Is it normal for a 50cc to do 45-47 mph? Because mine can, I'm just not sure if it's because it has the 72 in it or not. Any way to check?

Just Measure the Bore Dia. In Inch or Metric, Check against specs.
Do you have the old head gasket? If so its Dia. will indicate rough bore size.
Need at the very least Calipers, ( dont like them much, just for quick check) Carpenters tools they are.
