I think the problem is not the stator but if the battery can handle because my headlights turn on when key on with engine not running which I assume my headlights are DC right?

Yes, your lights are DC and are run off the battery it is up to your charging system to handle the LIGHT load to feed the battery enough voltage to keep up with the light draw, that is handled by the R/R. Alleyoop

Put a switch in the system. You're going to have to dismantle the front to install everything. Put a cool toggle on the dash or something like that. I don't know how many amps that is but they sell weather proof switches at Auto Weinie. Lights off, start bike, switch on. I've did it many times but not with HID. It's the same concept though.

Probably wont need a switch because its high beam halogen and low beam HID so I can just use Halogen and when engine is running switch to HID when desired

2008 Roketa M54 257cc Cypress. H4 bi-xenon headlights and LED lights in all the rest. I wired the two small running lights together and connected them to one of the oem outlets. The wiring for the turn signals I left alone. The H4 headlight units just slip right in to the original scoket. I ran the wire for the low beam through a switch so when I turn on the key to start...the HID lights do not turn on. The running lights go on and I drive with just them on. At dusk I turn on my low beam switch and it works great. If I want the high beam H4 lights I use the passing high beam switch on the left handelbar. Lots of light just on the lo beams. Less amps are used with this setup then with the stock bulbs.
