Take the burnt bulb out...look at the make and model#...google that info...pick the one like yours and buy it.

Is it true that a fully charged battery will not freeze? My Roketa MC-257B sets in my catport and we have some COLD below 25 deg. weather here in Arkansas. Also if I keep a trickel charger on it all the time will that keep it from freezing? Thanks.

I took mine to a local filling station where I knew the guys and ask them if they could mount them. At first they said no 'cause the rims are aluminum but one of the guys was a biker and he said he would be carefull. He was and I am happy.

I am in my 89th year and never did a tire change in my life but these on my scoot were bear and I had no idea what to do outside of ordering new ones, which I did. Avon AM63 Viper Stryke 120/70/13 for front and 140/60/13 rear from Motorcycle Superstore for $98.98 free shipping. How did I know how to do all this you ask? Six months of reading all I could on this web site. Taking off the wheels was simple except for the rear tire getting hung up on the right side shock and then I read this in an old post. Remove the left side shock and the whole thing will drop down a little which I did and ...bingo off it came. Put it all back together the way I took it off and I am a happy old retired WW2 Marine.

Thanks Guitarman for the reply. That is a great help to this beginner. I have learned sooooo much since joining this site. I learned how to re-wire all my lights...set my idel...change my tires...change engine and trany oil...and all that good stuff. I thank you all for my scoot education. taildrag

I have a 2008 Roketa MC-54B 257cc with 4800 mi. on the brakes. Can I just get pads for the rear brake or do I have to order the whole caliber system? If I can get just pads is there any post on the work to change pads? Thanks: taildrag

I learned how to rewire all my lights and I learned how to change both tires and now I am ready to change my anti-freeze. I have read enough on this web to be ready to go but one thing is not clear to me. How to burp the system. I know what it means...get the air out..but do I have to remove the plastic to squezze to hoses? I been through that once and I don't want to go there again. I am getting more brave every day as I get deeped into my 2008 Roketa M-54 B Cypress. Thank to all who helped me. Taildrag

Yep...started her up and the new HID headlights came on. Just wanted to thank all for information not just in this thread but all threads. My favorites is full of posts I have kept from all you fine guys(and gals) but I think it will be a long time before I take all that plastic off again.

Had to call a buddy over and it took 3 hours just to get the nose cone back on. All that added wire...controler...ballasts took up room and I had to re-ajust everything but we finaly got the nose on. That Roketa M54 has been setting in my shop for 5 months(real bad weather in Arkansas this year)but with a little work she started right up and all the lights work and I learned a lot and am a happy camper.

Copy that Bashan...will do. Do you think that the reason the low beam will not come on is that the engine has to be running first? Just thinking out loud here.

YAAAAA!!! I did it, I cut the wires. Hooked the 3 (white-blue and green)wires from my Roketa to a plug I bought at O'Rielly Auto...hooked up the battery line from the new harness to my battery...turned on the key and-----two small running lights went on and the turning and brake lights worked ok BUT...the new h4 headlights only came on when I used the passing switch on the left handelbar But that is a lot more then I expected. I'm happy. I will keep working to get it all done this year.
