Why do some scoots specify specific numbers but most places round off the numbers, especially the middle and end. I take a 17.5 x 28 and most sell 18 x 30 How much of a difference is that performance wise? Id like a longer belt but i take a 723 and the next size up is like 729

The really import numbers are the length and the angle, the half on the width will not make to much of a difference. You can use a 729 over the 723 that is just a hair longer which will help a little on your top end. Alleyoop

I decided to try a gates and the 724 gates was shoter than my 723 Bando and the parts company found all the 724s they had were not measuring correct so they sent them back to the manufacturer. But i will say even though is was too short it was silky smooth!
I just hate the fact that the Bando is so easy to counterfeit. Anyone can paint the logo.
