cam breath,,,it has nice ring to it,,there's 8 of them in a quatrovolvo you know,,,,2 per valve one for opening one for close,,,no valve springs,,thats why they make so much power,,no spring pressure to overcome,,,,and the valve is completely under control,,no "float",,,,the parasitic load is way less than springs and higher rpm limits,,,i'll get them up asap,,,

OK, this is going to be long...that's what HE said! Not she said but he....did you get it? OK, I must be impaired. Moving on...I had a nice chat with Jack today OH HA HA HA HA HA!! You don't chat with Jack! Sheesus! You yell at each other and laugh your arse off...he's a hoot, one of a kind.
Here's Sue at her desk sucking all the photons out of the air to power her creative limbic system. It makes for a ridiculous power bill but what can I do? No...I'm asking...what the hell can I do!! (I'm trapped here...help! Come and...) Nothing dear....just writing JR. No...not JR...Alley.
Let's do Origami first. This is the ancient art of getting girls to buy expensive Origami paper so their husbands have to keep working but that jerk Origami paper maker down the ROAD GETS TO KEEP......where am I? Oh, Sue's first Origami is:
The Spider!! This is made entirely of paper and Sue made it by folding one evil piece of pernicious parchment over another until she had something she could throw on my face in the middle of the night and AHHHH!!!
How about a bat? Anybody see a nefarious pattern here?:
I guess this is a star...hell I don't know, I can't forget how that spider feels on my face.....ick:
Here's the whole window collection of the accursed demons:
She stares at them endlessly while sharpening her canines with a file. No..not her teeth ...actual dogs and...No dear..it's NOT JACK!! AH HA HA HA!!
Sshhhh...here's one of the vicious canines now, Jack...go hide...you smell like bacon:
This one really bugs me:
Oh I'm a wuss am I? Ever had a paper cut? Well multiply by a million! Rock, scissor, PAPER AHHHH!! Smartass.
Let's move onto glass...now the evil starts. No Sue...it's not JACK! I don't know why you smell bacon. Dammit Jack...get back under the mattress!
This was the first paperweight Sue and I bought. It was $400.00 back in 1986, it's worth $408.00 now, at least that's what she tells me :
It's called a millifiori...which means a THOUSAND FRICKIN' DOLLARS! No...actually...it means a thousand flowers. See them in the weight? They each cost a dollar! This is Sue's next favorite weight, some sort of mud creature crawling under a scum pond...I think it knows the spider...shudder!
Here's another millifiori, what's another K?
If I can be serious for a moment...no I can't. Anyway...these overpaid artisians take long glass rods with those deigns in them and melt them without destroying the image on the end. This was fascinating...to the people that hung around and watched but I headed for the complimentary 6 oz beer bar.!
Here's a fantastic weight that!.....who the hell is that behind this gorgeous weight? Oh, it's my family. HI! How ya doing!? (jerks) Who's the wanker on the left...he looks familiar.
Jetsons....meet the Jetsons!! Won this at a paperweight show in New Jersey...I'm serious...it's worth $800.00. I won it! By virtue of cheating!
Ah...priceless....artist's signature hand etched, by him, on the base, right in front of us. I of course shrieked like a Beetle's fan and passed out.
I've run out of pics. But I sure feel like a BLT! Jack? Where the hell are you? Oh for god's sake Jack...get out of the Baco Snacks! Hey...those look good, can I have one?!

I wondered about that Pete, we've had them a long time. They mean a lot to us and I just don't think either of us could part with them so we don't price them. We didn't have much money when we bought the first one but we saved up for her birthday. We could have spent the money more wisely....but I don't think we could have spent it better. Priceless. Rich

My hobby is learning new hobbies. Only a few of them stick though. I plant a pretty big garden every year, at least big for here in town. That and canning takes up a lot of time in the summer. I try to get the kids out fishing when we can too. Like Rich, I build a computer here and there. Like Alley, I too am a big fan tossin' back brewskis. I like programming a lot, so I've got an Arduino board and assorted gadgets for it. Once I come up with a good application, it's going on the scoot somewhere. I bake a lot of bread and am horrible at brewing beer. Used to RV but had to sell it so I could go back to school. That'll be on hold for the next few years. Last fall, my buddies and I decided that since none of us went to high school with our wives, we'd dress up like a-holes and have a prom of our own. I learned to sew and made my wife a dress for that. At first, that was just to see if I could do it, but it's turned into a bit of a hobby too. Now, of course, I've got the scooter. I keep pretty busy.

Pete! The woodworking stuff man! Put that up too...unbelievable. Zeus's entertainment center! And the Dairy Queen thing!
V...my middle brother did that for years. It was astounding the scenes he would set up. We would sit for hours watching the trains and drinking potato water. RichardV, I would love to see pix of your hobby. Bill, my brother, was tragically killed in an auto accident. His trains were auctioned off, I regret doing that to this day. I think keeping them and setting them up again would have been therapeutic. I know he would have loved it. Rich Sorry to hear about your brother. I used to be in 'N' gauge but most got trashed when I got hospitalized and my brothers moved me out of my house thinking those where "just toys". I'm getting into 'HO' gauge do to arthritis and vision problems. My income is a lot smaller so I don't have much. Yet. This is my current roster;
An 0-6-0 Saddle Back Switcher with two wood side refrigerated cars. A 4-6-0 Baldwin and combine (half baggage/half passenger). A Lincoln convertible and Willies woody. They will be properly painted and will be Pettie Coat Junction diorama.
My grandfather taught me how to make some of that potato water.

Hey Doc Rocco.....did you ever put a hot pepper in the bottle of beer? I did that one year and gave some away at Christmas. Then I had people bugging me the next year for beer! I forget what kind I used....I think Serrano. I would have used the mighty Hab if I could have got it in the bottle. OMG I raised the red ones one year! AAHHHH!!! I still haven't got all the flora back in my colon.

Wow. Yeast and capsaicin! You're lucky you still have a colon! Maybe had I bottled my grog with peppers, it would have been drinkable. I typically have both jalapenos and habaneros in the garden. THIS is what God intended when he created the habanero. It's actually the only thing I sell from the garden. The stuff is like heroin. Get all your friends hooked and they'll pawn all their stuff just to keep a jar of it in the kitchen.
