Hey ive just orderd the piston,cylinder,head set for the 1e40qma engine 70cc ive noticed that it's arriving with this extra ring or whatever it is here is a link i know the two obvious round ones are rings but what is the funny shape smaller one.. 2 stroke 50cc upgrading to 70cc   www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sachs-SX1-SX-1-50cc-piston-ring-set-Naraku-70cc-1E40QMB-E2-/400624456878?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5d471414ae

If anyone does know what it is where does it sit ?

It's actually a spring and it goes behind one of the piston rings. You should find out when you take the originals out. My gut reaction is the bottom but it's been a long time since I pulled a two stroke apart.
