Can you believe this ? We have had thunderstorms for 4, I say 4 days in a row. It has poured buckets of rain. All the creeks are out of the banks and going across the roads. The Wabash river is backed up and flooding the river bottoms. The corn and bean crops are pretty well gone. The corn was waste high and the beans were knee high and now they are sitting in water. We had a lot of lightning yesterday evening and also this afternoon, some close to my house. When you here a crack and then the thunder, it is close, too close. As for the scooter, it's sitting in the garage and it needs a gasket for the exhaust. Someone help me on this one, where to buy 1 for a mc 54 250 b. " Cheep or even Free is better" LOL'S This will be the 2nd one in 7000 + miles. If it keeps on raining, I think I'll put pontoons on the scoot and ride around the river bottoms and into town.

It did that here in "Bama a year or two ago, sounds like the same weather pattern. Every day there's be a huge storm and sometimes a tornado. We just started fatoring it in to our daily schedules. Up till that time we were running out of water and you couldn't water your lawns, then the lakes were flooding. A liittle moderation would be nice but it seems it's either flood or drought. Gaskets are cheap and plentiful, you might check with our list of vendors, e-bay, or Dr. JR, he's kind of a 250 specialist. Rich

Whatever happened to those nice summer showers that we used to get ? The 1/2 inch to an inch of rain that would come and go in 3-4 hours. Cool everything down to where you could get a good nights sleep. I remember betting my brother that I could run to the end of the block and back before he could in the rain. It was a pretty close race until I stomped my foot in a puddle and got him all wet. He would get so mad that he would start after me. I had to run fast so he wouldn't catch me and beat the tar out of me. Yep, I was the winner as I kept on running after we got to our house. But, he would wait until I was asleep and then beat the tar out of me with a pillow. Ah , the good old days..... Luke, If I could send you some water, I would, I've got more than enough. So much that it washed out the culvert on our road. Yes JR. I have been watching the weather pattern in your sate if Arkie land and My heart and prayers go out to all.
