This is very interesting. If all this information is supposed to be an open learning enviorment , which would be fine , then why isn't this forum totally open ? Why are the help sections closed only to members of this forum ? Other learning enviorment forms are not closed. Also what is confusing to me is, why is this even discussed ? If you are a member of " Scooter Professor " , everyone knows that he has a lot of manuals. So why don't you ask there. Lastly , I don't see anything competetive about giving credit where credit is due . If we are going to act like adults as mentioned, then the adult thing to do , IMO , is just say " THANKS " to the Scooter Professor . I know he has spent a lot of money and time to get all the information that he could collect to share with all scooter owners . Speaking for myself , I use this information a lot and appreciate JR'S efforts to the utmost. So saying thanks is the least one could do .

The gass producers had better wake up > This country cannot survive on gas that is $4.00 per gallon. Now what, more oil for China ?

mcalli, I have the same scooter. 250-B 2008 Runs great at the preasent time since I just did a valve setting on it.. When I do a valve setting . I usually get around 67.4 mpg and I'm not a little guy, 250 +. I have a 3 1/2 gallon fuel tank that lasts me 3 days to work and back home . 60 mile round trip. When I get to 180 miles on the odometer , I pull in and filler up.

The only time I will complain that it is hot is when I am at work. The rest of the time I can cool off in the pool. LOL's

Left work to come home and I got caught in a down poor. Ever here of raining cats and dogs ? Well , it was raining horses and cows. Couldn't see through my visor so I pulled of the road and just sat there until the storm rolled on. Wow , did I ever get drenched even with my rain suit on. I really want to see some sunshine and plant some more garden. Next Tuesday a couple of friends and I are going for a long ride , somewhere around 350 miles. Maybe through the southern part of Indiana. Hoosier National Forest to be exact. Lots of hills and curves, thats what its all about isn't it ? Might stop at French Lick for a slot or maybe a lucky table. Looking forward to the trip on the scoot. I sure hope it 's not raining. Going to keep my fingers crossed for a beautiful day. I need one .

On the inside of the "B" , if I remember right, there are 2 or 4 adjustment nuts with springs behind them . Each light has it's own adjustment.

I can see that my headlight is out of adjustment after I replaced a bulb. Yes, I had the whole thing apart but I had never replaced a headlight bulb on my 250-b. I made a simple job very hard. If you know what I mean ? Now my right light is too high. ooops !!! Is there a thread that shows this step by step ? I'm going back in , Doc.

? Are you using a remote to start your scoot ? If you are , make sure that the key is all the way on..... That is how my scoot was acting before I realized that the key wasn't all the way on.

Now lets all go back to old school on this one and find the problem. First, lets unscrew the spark plug, hook the wire back up and set it against a ground. Do you have aa spark when you turn the engine over ? If the answer is "yes" then lets go on to #2. The easyest way to find out if you're not getting any fuel is to back out your spark plug, shoot some gas in on the valves, replace the spark plug and turn the engine over. If it kicks over and runs for a second then you have a fuel delivery problem in the carb or a posible fuel pump problem.Try this several times to make sure thats the problem. When you get the scoot running. get some SEA FOAM and use it as an additive to your fuel. It is recomended to use 1 oz per gallon of fuel.

Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 70's and I'm going for a ride. This evening I changed the oil and the gear box fluid, checked the tire presure, and I'm ready to Get IT ON. ;D
