Hi everyone, I have a little bit of a conundrum. My girlfriend's scooter, a 2005 Piaggio Typhoon, has signal lights that seem to be a bit finicky. She says that when she is riding, they often don't work. Sometimes they are fine, but often they don't respond to the signal switch.
I tried to troubleshoot a little, not knowing that the scooter being in motion seems to be the cause. When it is idling, everything works fine. We did replace the bulbs not long ago, after going through some LED ones that didn't work, we eventually found a set that did.
If anyone knows anything else I could try, I would be very appreciative.

I'm not great at this but the flasher has to be compatible with the lights. I'm OK with standard lights and flasher relay but I have never messed with LEDs. So I'm thinking maybe a little increase in current with RPM and the flasher quits working. I don't know, I'm spit balling. Why at idle and not otherwise? I know the bulbs have to work with the flasher so? Rich
