Minarelli 70cc Horizontal engine By minarelli (Read 888 times)

Hey guys 

Recently brought a sachs sx1 50cc 2008 scooter.It has the Minarelli engine installed,I have done a long overdue engine rebuild since the engine has been neglected from the previous owner. 

I have installed the following.

Naraku crank.
Naraku 70cc Kit
Naraku cylinder head.
High oaktane 101 oil pump.
Oil pump drive gear.
Stator.
NGK sparkplug.

I have not started her yet as i am waiting for a new exhaust (standard).

Any ideas if the oil pump i have installed (standard) will be okay with the 70cc kit or will i have to upgrade to a bigger one ?

Liam,sounds like you are on the right track. I run a minarelli with a 70 polini bbk, wih the stock oil pump, and no problems. You can adjust the pump for more oil,but u should be good.
