My gorilla motor works, now Wolfe brand only has 250 miles and starting running worse and hard starting and now won't run. Took to local shop for tune up and was told has spark, gets gas and initially had no compression. But after valve adjustment has 155 lbs
Mechanic wants to rebuild top end. Does this make sense??
Poll attached! I am uncertain if I want to spend $300 after I bought used for what I thought was a good deal and ran fine for 100 miles.
It did sit at dealers at least a few months but ran great when I picked it up, please help by taking poll or posting opinion or suggestions

Why would any one rebuild top end if it has 155 lbs?

155lbs is still excellent Compression, you will notice when it needs a top end rebuild it will slow down due to lack of power pulling the weight. Once it gets down into the LOW 140s then you will notice the difference. Alleyoop

I third that. If it has 155 psi it's fine. Wolf brand scooters are Znen and are usually well built.
