Does anybody know where I can purchase a full set of plastics for my scooter? I'm thinking about completely changing the look of my scooter! Or is that not how plastics work? I'm not sure...are there full body kits available for a 50cc?

I usually get my body kit parts from - www.scrappydogscooters.com/CHASSIS_PARTS.html - they may not have what you are looking for, but they have a lot of different parts. Just choose the style of scooter, and scroll until you find something. Otherwise eBay is the only other place that I can think of.

Hmm, looks like I need to find a way to identify my Chasis.

The ONE thing that is specific on scooters is the body. They concoct bizarre attachment points that they weld to a frame that make that frame work a certain body. Having said that, there are a limited number of scooter bodies. The racer, classic, rowdy etc. Now, to your question, will you find a different body that will hook onto your attachment points? No, I don't think so. The metal attachments tend to follow the morphology of the body because the body needs lots of support. The body can't extend to the frame, the frame must meet the body. Does that make sense? I've thought of doing what you're saying to a couple scooter builds and ended up caving because I moved on to other projects. Rich

So what you're saying is that every frame is unique in terms of its attachment points? So unless I could take off all the plastics and have them 3D scanned and recreated...well...let's not go there.

Yep...that is exactly it. Here's a good example, this bracket is specific for the racer body:
My 150 retro had a completely different attachment point. My Fashion has little arms welded to the frame that reach out to the body. Nothing duplicates the Fashion, that's for DAMN sure! Rich
