Head lamp bulbs By kalee (Read 2,650 times)

Alley, not long ago I remember reading on this forum where a person could get replacement head lamp bulbs for a 2012 Ice Bear 150CC trike. They say the mind goes first, I just blew a head lamp bulb. Man what a mess to take off to get to those bulbs. You have to remove the whole left front end to get to them, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked on E-Bay but most of them are 100W an mine are 35W, would the 100W work?

Alley, No worries I found the headlamp bulb at my local Auto Zone, there 55W instead of 35W but brighter might be better. Thanks for your time

Also watch the charging it may not be able to keep up with the draw of the 55w bulbs and drain your battery.

Where would I go to to find 35W headlamp bulbs? I looked at scrappy dog but they didnt carry the 35 W

Yes need to see it and the number I believe you can also get 45watt ones as well.

You do JOHN?, I will pull mine out and check it as well maybe the LED ones will not draw so much juice and I can ride around with my headlights ON and not just the small running lights next to it

Im on my way out to dinner there is a picture of them in my photobucket . Alley do you have 11 pole stator ?

Alley, I hope you can get to your headlamps easier than I could, I had to completely remove the whole left front end just to replace a head lamp bulb.
I dont think the right side is hard to get to as the left side as there is a storage box on the left side that provents a person reaching up and pulling out the bulb.

I searched your site the only thing I found was the S2 35 watt bulb searched for LEDS no hit.

And I have an 8 pole stator.

To get at mine I have to take the Windshield off, I can get to them from underneath but they have a bar going across them to hold them in and need to unscrew the bar to pull them out and cannot do that from underneath.

Mine has a spring wire that you squezee together to remove the bulb but its next to impossible getting to them on the left side
