I'm knee deep in the et4 sorting out the worst carburetion call on the planet,,, the walbro in the vespa has a serious problem, waiting for the sudco prepped mikuni flatslide pumper carb,,,,, but I think I may have made a mistake,,, there are clearance considerations and the tm series may be too tall,,, if it doesn't fit I may have to go with the vm series round slide ,, I'm not really looking forward to having to design and have a mini manifold watercut to stand the carb up 3/8 of an inch,,, as it is i will have to cut and move the package tub up some for clearence ,,,more to come

I've moved carbs up a bit with a thick gasket or two. But on rereading that 3/8" is a stretch. Yeah, you'd have to cut something with substance. I've used aluminum stock from Lowes and drilled a large hole in it. Then used a jig saw to finish off the inside and out, then smooth file and remove all residual metal. Might that work? Rich

My very good genius friend has a waterjet cutter Rich,,,,i may develop a kit for the et and the next generation lx,,,and sell the whole package cable prejetted carb,manifold standoff block and longer bolts with gaskets
