Well I am now the proud new owner of a new-to-me Honda Reflex. We met in the middle at $2100 and I'm happy with that. The scooter is in good condition and I plan on cleaning up the paint where some light scratches are. I was dead set on buying a clone for over a year now and changed my mind just yesterday. I'm glad I went with the Honda. A clone would have cost me about $2000 shipped with TTL so for $100 more I got the real thing. Not knocking Chinese scooters as I used to own a 150cc and enjoyed it, but I have more peace of mind with the Honda reliability.

Thanks for the advice. In the little bit of reading I've done in the last few hours, it sounds like the brakes are great on the non-ABS version, and the benefit of having them isn't a deal breaker as stated above.
What do you all think about $2,200 for a 2005 Reflex non-ABS, 2,500 miles, minor cosmetic damages? I personally think $2,000 is a more fair price, but wanted a second opinion.
Thanks all!

So I've been in the market for a Honda Reflex clone for a while now, but recently have decided to go with a real used Reflex instead. I'm going to look at a Reflex tomorrow (hopefully), but it is the model without ABS. ABS is often touted as one of the benefits the Reflex has over the clone. Since this one doesn't have ABS, can it be added with the necessary parts, or would it not be worth the trouble? The price isn't much more than a clone shipped to my house, so I'm starting to feel like the better quality would be worth it just for that. But should I hold out for an ABS model? Any thoughts?
