Perfect Thanks..Last inquiry. The hose L shape connector going into the caliper is sticking out at a right angle from the tire rather than parallel. Is it ok to loosen the bold and rotate it back ? Will it tighten ok? Thanks..GBY

Thank you very much. Best instructions I ever got. Can you give a step by step on the brake fluid change. I don't need any pictures just step by step instructions. Once I learn, I'm good. Thanks...GBY

Your jets will be plugged they need to be removed and cleaned with a thin wire and carb cleaner Yes I understand that. So draining the float bowl doesn't help? I figured since it ran well and I drained it gas was still in there ?

Thanks for all the replies. I posted at an old forum but not much response there. Seafoam is on my list. I do see a few posters here I remember. As for the varnish, I drained the float bowl and figured the vacuum valve would keep the carb free of gas..We'll I guess it wouldn't hurt to pull out the seat bucket just to check the chinese rubber this year.. The carb removal is a go from there. As an offshoot, I was wondering about getting out the original chinese break fluid. Would the new fluid affect the chinese rubber in the front caliper..I never messed with brake fluid and calipers other than changing pads. Do you need special tools ? Thanks GBY

Hadn't had much issues the last two seasons with my wife's RX-200 so I haven't been here the last two years..Last Oct I put it away with fresh gas and stabilizer plus I drained the float bowl. It was running fine when put away. Having a real nice start in the riding season here in Pa. I get it out yesterday and got it started after cranking a bit but it runs rough (like put put) and stalls if the throttle is backed off. Figuring the gas lost it's octane I drained and put fresh in. Ran the same even with new gas. Starts easy but it runs rough as you have to have the throttle on just to where the wheel starts spinning to keep it running.. Any ideas where to start looking ? Thanks. GBY
BTW I don't see a lot of familiar faces.

When I pull the exhaust off Lois' RX200 there was no flat type of gasket..What I did find was like a thin raised ridge like one side of a thin donut..I put it back together and no leaks...One nut came out with the stud attached and the nut just came off the other side..
