Hello all. More scooter trouble for me... I turn the key and my leds light up like normal. when I pull the brake, they turn off and my starter doesn't engage at all. What do I do? Thanks in advanced.

I talk to people all the time about scooters so I'll spread the good word.

Big thanks to you all. this is a great site. How can I help finacially? Any links to click or a link to a parts dealer to go through? I need oil, filter, air filter and a new fairing clip set and I'd like to show my appreciation.

After reading the cvt basics and various other posts in the cvt section. I figured out that on top of the rollers being bad I put the belt on incorrectly. Once I took the back pulley off. I pinched the plats apart and set the belt as deep as possible, then put it back on. The. I took the rear half plate of the front pulley assembly on and put the belt directly on the shaft, then impacted the front half plate on. And voila sounds better. Unfortunately due to typical fl weather I can't ride it...13 inches of rain in two days. Jetski-ing on my scooter only sounds fun.

Also I put a 842 20 30 belt on it. It is a PITA getting it back on and I have the front pulley off. I have a 2013 Jonway ballistic 157qmj which I believe is the long crank. Still working on posting pics.

Just took the front pulley off and looked at the weights. I think one of them was sideways but the plates shifted due to my negligent grasp when pulling it off so I can't be sure. They look like they have seen better days. A few have slight flat spots.

Unfortunately I never looked at it before it was broke so I don't know what it's supposed to look like but nothing is obviously out of place. If I put on a new variator kit and a new clutch pulley bell assembly what are my chances of fixing this? I can buy both these parts cheaper than what it would cost me to get the lone repair shop to fix. Last time I had them fix something they told me a week to fix and they took three months...

The other day I was driving home when I heard a sudden whine and the lost power. My engine stayed running but gasing it did nothing but rev the engine. So I replaced the belt. My engine won't idle but it will start and when I give it gas it hesitates, jumps and then stalls when I let off.
