Negative on that PAIR. Float checked out operational to specs. Idle jet was obstructed and cleared. Swapped cam and plug. Have more to do. I'm half asleep and going back there.

Well I got the head pulled and tested the valves for leaks and notta. Getting fuel in the air box so I thought I had a bad intake valve. I poured parts cleaner in the port and let sit for about ten minutes and no leaks. So no I guess I tear the carb apart and check the float. Idk maybe the spark plug is bad. Can't get to an auto store too get a compression tester due to the weather. I guess I'm just gonna start shooting in the dark cause I'm completely out of ideas after that.

I've discovered two new issues: 1: i have fuel in my air box 2: clutch contra slide is sticking. Bad! I pulled it back very stiff. When I let go it didn't move. I had to pry it back with a screwdriver. I was on the road. GOOD THING IS I know how fix that..but fuel in the air box???

The scooter ran fine it's brand new. It had 600km on it when I did the bbk. I think stock jet is like 72it's s sealed carb. That's why I took the carb off my project scoot. I knew it would need re-jet. And like i've said about three times now, you can't see the stem in the old pic cause I just swapped the valves. Why rest valves on a head I'm not using?
No I don't have a flywheel tool. I'll snap some more pics of the fly wheel today and get them up. I'm thinking of just putting a stock head back on it. Will that help? How do I test for exhaust leak. Mind you I'm hearing impaired. That's why I kept putting my ear against the valve cover,but I couldn't feel a vibration on it like valves produce when they're loose...

39mm, yes it feels it has a little more torque in take-off till about half throttle then it just flatlines. Lap? They're new heads. Weird noise yes! Exhaust leak no. Where are you going with this?

Those pics where the spring is not attached was taken right after I swapped them. The one the right is the new head with now the 69's I took out of the stock head on the left.
And I guess the timing pic is mis leading cause the indicator is @ 9 o'clock, the "T" is at about 930 & the line is at or just pass 10 o'clock. It fired right up but something is wrong.2014 Taotao ATM50-A BBK first fire:
Just listen it's not valves, I thought it was exhaust leak but it's tight.

I also installed a A9 cam with it. And has anyone seen factory timing like this. I have 2other 1P39QMB's and neither of them line up like this. Is it possible the flywheel was installed wrong? I've never removed on so I'm not sure if the markings are wrong or if the flywheel is in the wrong position.

Ya the head I bought I was told it was a 69mm but I got a 64mm so I swapped the valves cause all I have are 69mm rocket assemblies. Some ppl have said that the 64 are better but no seems to have a reason to why. I'm thinking of putting the stock head back on cause of the massive porting this yahoo did whom sold the bbk to me.
