Yeah, I found several sources selling the adjustable CDIs..but if you ask me, that's more of a pain than I want to deal with. Even then the adjustable one, even though you can adjust them, they are still a fixed timing meaning it's set at one point. Your engine will should run better with one that adjusts it's curve on the go.

Well there are your standard fixed timing performance CDIs be it AC or DC. Then there are some adjustable timing CDIs again AC or DC..Then there is the one John sells that is a variable timing CDI meaning (and if I understand how it works right) it adjusts it's timing curve to mach your engines needs. John also tests his CDIs to ensure they work. Having gone through 2 fixed timing CDIs from ebay that were crap in an orange box, I ended up with one from John and it runs like a mad man.
