John, Thank u for showing some interest in my problem. I purchased the 11 pole stator off EBAY. I had no idea that there was any difference between stators. The listing said it was for a Jonway GY6 150cc. No doubt I probably have purchased the wrong thing. Could you share some of your wisdom with me to determine if I have the right or wrong item? If I do have the wrong one could you direct me where I can buy what I really need?

The 8 pole stator I took off had 3 wires from the stator, green, white and yellow. The 11 pole stator has 4 wires, green, white, yellow and pink. What do I need to do with the pink wire? My scooter is a 2014 Jonway 150cc, 157 QMJ with 16,000 miles. Could sure utilize your expertise.

I have a Jonway 150cc gy6 scooter with 6,000 miles. The valves are set at .004. I have replaced fuel and vacuum lines at around 2,000 miles, spark plug around 4,000 miles and have removed the carburetor and cleaned twice. The scooter starts and idles fine but after running for about 5 minutes when I give it full throttle it bogs down, additionally every time it bogs down, the tachometer goes haywire. If I move back to 1/3 or 1/2 throttle it seems to do fine and the tach works normal as well. Any ideas?

<b>"i'd wager a guess the carb is a little gummed up with varnish and a couple of the jets and /or ports are plugged"</b><br>Let me know when you are wagering again as I will second the wager. I took off the carb, cleaned it and reported back that the jets were clean. I reinstalled and no change in performance... I then took another look at the thread in bold print above and realized that I made sure the ports, the holes in the side, were clean but didn't insure the hole down the center was. I took the carb off the second time and removed the jets. I put them up to the light and could see only darkness from the center. I cleaned until each jet emitted light looking down the center. I put the carb back together and reinstalled it. <b>Thanks to your guidance, the scooter runs better now than ever. Thank you</b>

The bike is one year old. I have 5,000 miles on it. I ride it regularly. I have adjusted the valves on it twice. I took the carb off and am in the process of cleaning it. I did I found some gummy substance in the bottom of the bowl but the jets were clean.

My carb does not have a screw for the air mixture. It appears to be a brass plug that's smooth. I seen somewhere that a man took a dremel and made a slot for a flat tip screwdriver do you suggest doing that?

My GY6 150 starts with the enricher but when the enricher turns off the engine dies. I have tried adjusting the idle. I also have tried to rev it up when the enricher turns off but it bogs down.
