As you all know i have 2 units of galaxy blue 2006 Yamaha Morphous, one that i regularly use and one that is inside my living room stripped off it's plastics in preparation for it's modification it has 2,400miles on it, Unfortunately, wife has been complaining and wants the second morphous out of the house and sold. it has all the tupperware(complete) i bought it for $500 i just want my money back. AND you are responsible for the shipping. i highly recommend Uship.com they have reasonable rates. pm me    |

I think the Chino scoots are fine for local use and daily riding. The fact is they are just not yet close to Harley or Honda or Yamaha when it comes to metals... That means wear parts shorter life... Look at a chino 250cc motor and a Honda 250cc motor and see which one has the most HP... Now with that said I remember when Honda and Yamaha and a few others had the same problem, but were also a lot cheaper than a Harley. As they got better over the years the price got better too. China just is not there yet. They have been making motors for scooters but not for the USA. Here in the States we have high speeds and can ride cross country and our demands are different. I think in a few years they will be as good as any other make...they are selling a lot of scooters now and are going for more of the market. Magoo OMG!!! is that you magoo???....suddenly you became a chino scoot hater...attaboy!!!!....i'll give you a red carpet welcome to the club, to my club!  |

it can't be kz,, my morph's wheelbase is longer than the Harleys or any bike around and even bulky-er than any mc's,and can't be looked down to or ridiculed, It can go from 0-65mph in 6.6seconds mind you.
you should be drooling by now..lol
it's nice to have a healthy discussions with you...just be thankful that i'm giving you some of my time..lol

They were doing the fud thing when I bought the majesty too. Told me you just can't get chinese parts when I mentioned I really wanted a new chinese big scooter (250 or better). When I found you can get chinese parts the next day and there were no parts in this country for my yamaha that was only 4-5 years old and the same engine as current model I would have loved to meet back up with the a hole who sold me the majesty and done something to the side of his head. I had only bought a few parts to upgrade the 150 at that time. Getting the numbers for honda clones here will probably be hard to get as few importers give figures but just look at all of them in 3rd world countrys and they run forever there. possibly if some one had a in at a few states dmv or the us dot maybe we could find some thing out. WHAT? you were at a Yamaha dealership with all those nice,beautiful top of the line scooters and mc's on their showroom THEN here you are telling them that you prefer a chinese scooter where you can get parts the next day?? wow,,you got some balls sir!..lol ;D,,they'd probably looked at you from head to foot... it's a mortal sin to even mention the words "chinese scooter" on an italian,japanese,american bike dealership for christ sake. it's like riding your 50cc in Sturgis or Daytona bike week...LOL |

clones are clones, the reason why it was called a "clone" it's because it was pattern from the original / a replica using a lower grade quality material. just like cloning a goat or a cow, getting DNA's from a chromosomally aberrated living tissues then create another lower form of living individual mostly becomes sickly and do not stay alive like the orig host.

kz,here's the thing,, if you're going to do a long ride going to the west coast, which scooter are you confident to ride? a 250 chinese rocketa ? or a HONDA reflex?
your 45years riding experience is at stake here so be careful with your answer....plus, i have a double major in psychology so i know if you are playing a reverse psychology or not...

Not sure why you do not believe that a Roketa could get 10,000 miles. This one has. They do not sell the Linhai 257cc scooter now, it could not pass EPA testing. My 2008 is one model year that had the Linhai (Yamaha clone) They use the Honda clone engine now.
