with the reputation china has made over the years, it will take so many years before it can redeem itself and erase that kind of reputation in the minds of every people.
they should improve now, it's never too late., after about 50years they'll be the top manufacturer of scooters....

the title of this thread is just a teaser. lol here's the real content: just so you guys know, i am not a 100% chinese hater, there still part of me that like some or i mean just one chinese product and that is my Chicago 90amps mig welder. i had this for almost 3yrs now, i wouldnt have completed all my projects without this welder, one time i used it 6 hrs straight , i must say that one way or another i have abused this welder but STILL up and running just like new. im so impressed with this welder. yes it's a chinese product... i know by saying this, i put a smile in jct and kz's face.. lol but seriously i like this welder. this cost me $90 after the coupon, at harbor freight. loveet!!!  |

two out of three here still don't get the point of trailering a scooter. ever wonder why a lot of mc trailer company around? kendon, condor,bushtec to name a few that has been existing for a long time and actually making good business?? it's because there's a real need for a motorcycle trailer., if you have a chinese 50 and you have to travel 300miles, would you be insane to ride it all the way there?? mygad...i don't want to rent a scooter,goodness, i have my own, i just want to enjoy it when and where i want to enjoy it..,i want the trailer to get the road beating not the scooter...
so still, two out of three is hard headed stubborn...but i'm still giving you a chance...lol

ill choose the burgie over vespa of course, i dont like the looks of the new vespa, the seat looks like a parrot's head and beak. looks very dork. hahaha!! burgman has proven its good quality and performance for many years now. plus its a japanese scoot no less!!! if the vespa cost 4k, i think its a good buy. but for 10grand?? shet, hell no!! and novaraptor really has the eye for beauty... he has a good taste in scooter, i'll include you in the list of my friends.. lol  ....kz, forced me to delet the morph picture..im so sad |

poverty stricken motorcycle owner???lol funny,well, i got the money to buy a trailer in addition to my 250cc scooter,some could only afford a scooter.
this chock shall be put to test this coming saturday.. so excited!

7.4K miles in five years?  !!!!! omg, NO WONDER your scooter is in tip top shape,that's slightly used...oh jiz,,and you have the nerve to brag about it??...hahaha!..i put average 5k-7k miles 8months to 1yr on my morphous. and the only part i replaced that NEEDED to be replaced are the tires and brake pads. yes i replaced the clutch but it's just me, there was no need to replace it., i re-grease the primary central sheave,again,there was no need to regrease it, but it's just me. i just wanted to disassemble it to know it's internal parts. btw i re-installed my old cvt clutch ,it runs smoother than the new one...so i made a mistake of buying the clutch..the original runs perfect. SO basically my morphous need not be fixed at all, just basic maintenance, tires,oil,gear oil,brake pads. i have a co-member at the morphous yahoo group ,her name is Susan, she has 49kmiles on her morph, no hiccups,no farts, didn't replace any major parts, hasn't even adjusted the valves.,BUT runs perfect. there's another one,her name is PurplePassion..almost same mileage 40+kmiles..same runs great... not 7.4K mles in 5years...my goodness!!!! hmmm? tell us,have you been trailering your scooter???LOL busted! |

ahhh finally..!!! that's all i want to hear, that you had experience japanese bike and loved it, self admittance is what i need.
175,000 miles,, thats very impressive.
now i'm done with my quest.

remove the spark plugs, spray some amount of gas inside the chamber , put the plug back then start, if it fires up and die, then its safe to conclude that the effin carb is clogged and needs thorough cleaning.
or, maybe it has spark but not enough to burn the gas. keeps on flooding.
inspect the petcock and float., do you see gas dripping out from the air filter case?

I sure see a lot of folks riding them and having a lot of fun Magoo Yes magoo, it's fun,no doubt about it,,i hate electric scooter AS MUCH as i hate chinese scooties,remember that. here's the reason why: if i'm going to ride my electric scooter tomorrow, i'm going to charge it tonight ,the entire night. what if i am going for a long ride,say 100miles, can the battery last? i can probably go to my destination but cannot come back, the scooter will stall in the middle of the road and in the middle of the night.....to me that's insane. then i need to charge it again for several hours so i can go back to my house???  , i don't see the logic. whoever invented the electric car, electric scooter etc,they need to go back to school. gas transportation is the way to go... debate? anyone?  if you are anti-electric scooter don't pretend that you are pro-electric scooter just to have a debate.,i know one person here is rascal enough to do that..lol 1000st |
