I have to ride my scooter over the highway sometimes to get out into town and man its gets pretty scary sometimes. Especially if youre carrying something or someone with you. I dont recommend it honestly. I do it because my scooter is my means of transportation and i dont really have a choice sometimes.

Today was a beautiful 75 degrees here in Vegas, and I've got 400 miles on my new 150cc fully broken in, so I took a nice ride. Coming home, I jumped on the freeway to see just what she could do. A bit of a headwind, and the stretch I took her on goes up and down rolling hills, nothing severe. I had no problem maintaining 60mph, but getting above 65 only happened going downhill, and I did nudge 70 on the longest downhill stretch. The tach was showing 6800rpms on that downhill stretch, never got her above 7000rpms, so I may have a bit more with some basic mods, but not much. I'm very happy with the performance on surface streets, here in Vegas the speed limit on major roads is 45mph, with people hitting 50-55 as a rule. I have no problem leading the pack from stop lights, and have decent throttle response, never needing to go WOT unless I want to. This is basically where id be at

If you have 10 inch rims like I do ,,, it does get a little twitchy over 60 mph,,,, well to be honest more than a little,,, it does bring the pucker factor into play,,, I'm modding mine to be a tad quicker and stronger for hills not really for anymore speed,,, it already goes over 60 but I don't really want to go any faster Yeah i only wanna go abit faster. Ive hit 65 on a good day but the weather. Was good and it was just me on it over the freeway. It was pretty freaky. The wind was hitting hard lol

The speeds around my area are from 35 to like 75 tbh. I like in an area that requires me to go over a stretch of freeway to get into town but other than that its mostly 30~45. I dont know where id want to end up top speed wise because idk how high i can get it. Its not like i wanna do 150mph or something, for as much as thatd be freakin awesome, i dont wanna hurt myself. How do i get the top speed and rpm? Do i just rev it real hard on the stand and take a look at the meter?

Helloo. Im kinda new to all this modding tuning and stuff and i was wondering how i can get more power out of my engine. Read one article that said high flow exhaust and aor filter, read another that said that does nothing really and that machining the pistons and engine parts and such would be a better route. Help?
