Lane splitting... illegal in Fl.
On the video shown by Mike932 -> I am less worried about that type of crash here... and much more worried about people getting back in the lane after passing me (illegally over double yellows) and hitting my front while at 'speed' (ie 30 to 35 mph).

Too many scooter shops around for there not to be any scooter riders nearby.

Thanks Cyborg - I want to get my wife a scooter in the near future (a month or two max). I've already learned a ton just by reading this forum and 49ccscoot(dot)com (another forum)...
