Ok I need to look up the stats on these but what do you think so far? mounted on the correct bracket think these might do the trick? 3 of these side by side only .6 amp draw now that is what Im talking about. Plus I know they are very good fans..... :-) After a bit of digging I found the basic specs for these fans 0.2A, 1700 RPM @ 32 dba for 68 CFM

Ok. This freaking sucks. Drove to wok all went well only 62 degrees so fan did not have to run much. Scooter started right after work. Drove 30 miles to go check on one of my caches shut scooter off go to restart not enougjh battery to start it. I am going to look through my computer fans to night. I have a couple of aluminum paniflows need to see what cfm they are. What should I have colectively for CFM accross the radiator on the YY250T?

I really wanted to have cheaper transportation for going the 54 miles one way back and forth to work. So that is My TOP GUN reason for the NEED FOR SPEED!!!! 54 miles one way!!! That Sure Ain't Urban No it sure is not. But I do go through 7 towns on the way. And I work in Madison, Wisconsin so when you get down town by the University it is one big scooter parking lot. :-)

Now that is really weird. What is going through that line that is so hot? I would think all of us with the Honda Clone would be haveing the same issue. something has got to be wrong with where the line hooks up to the motor. I have been so busy trying to trouble shoot my Elec issue I had forgot to take a real close look at this area on my bike when I had all the plastic off this last weekend. If all is normal you almost need to go look for some metal hose like this stuff. www.hosexpress.com/metal/316stainless.htm

I had the NEED for SPEED. I have a 125 and it tops out at about 47 with my FAT Arse on it. I really wanted to have cheaper transportation for going the 54 miles one way back and forth to work. I had figured a 125 would be fine for that. Well when it is 2 lane all the way to work and traffic is heavy people do not care if they cut off scooters so it was not safe at all. I needed to be able to do the speed limit so I upgraded to a 250 this year. Now I do not get passed very often and when I do I sure don't get the one finger salute I used to. So that is My TOP GUN reason for the NEED FOR SPEED!!!!

I believe the primary problem was the brown and Yellow wire run that goes through the 6 wire plug and up to the 10A light fuse. But the brown wire connecting to the Regulator Positive was getting warm so replaced the plug and put spades on that make better connection than the original plug. I replaced the wire from the diode primarily to cover the whole charge circuit.

I am running HID direct to battery. The original Light wiring just controls the Relay/control Module for the HIDs. Yes I have updated to LED on the Tail/Brake and Signals and the Lights beside the headlights.
Yes It drops when I start then I let it run and watch it climb back up to over 13 Volts. Also this is the first time I have actually had the voltage climb as I increased RPM. Before it always dropped. I have been running it until the fan kicks in and when the fan kicks in I have not been noticing any major drops in voltage while the fan is running.

Ok I replaced that whole circuit right down to the PLUG that goes into the Regulator. SO Now right away when I start the scooter the voltage drop from 12.8 to about 12.3 then slowly climbs to about 13.2. Now this is actually consistent now. Is this enough voltage to sustain and charge?

I was just talking with an electrical buddy of mine. And while talking with him I think I am rewire that whole charging circuit and by pass the the two plugs that are in that circuit and put a good fuse holder in and bypass the fuse box completly with a bit heavyer wire plus less plugs to cause resistance should take care of the problem. In Theory.

Checked that ground. All of the ground wires are nice and firm. I think I will do what you just suggested. I was thinking about that on the way into work this am. I have the whole wire harness pulled out right now so I think I will cut all that apart one by one and solder it all back together it has to be in that area withing that group of wires.
