That would be greatly appreciated. Now I'm sure you can understand my frustration with this process. I'm beginning to believe they made up a number or something and we contacted to the lady she's like your SOL I guess so yeah. Never had so much trouble finding this number, even e-mailed a sunny dealer in New Zealand for a lead but have yet to get a reply!

Yeah i seriously don't think this thing has one which is STUPID because it apparently has one registered to it. the engine number should be that whole plate you were talking about earlier but is nothing close to what the DMV said it was... so confusing
EDIT: Ok looking at US laws, it HAS to have one. I just want to pull my hair out omg!

The serial number I guess would be the proper term. If the serials dont match during title transfer then they know you changed the motor and need to somehow get a new title and or it could be stolen etc.
Like my motorcycle number is like RC32xxxxx-xxxx So every bike has a frame number and engine number to be able to tell if anything on it has been changed and if it has it must be documented

Hey guys, I'm having just the hardest time finding the engine number on my soon to be wife's scooter! She bought a 2009 Sunny LB150T Pink (of course) Only had 400 miles on it for like $800. Not a bad deal ran great drove great just had to tighten a couple bolts near the muffler. Still runs and drives great get about 90+ MPG. BUT I Cannot find the engine number!!! Can anyone help me? The only number stamped on the motor that I can see is the VIN number? ? I'm so confused by this chinese scooter stuff lol I'll stick with my 86 Honda Magna! But anyways any help would be appreciated! THANKS!
