No battry at all ... And the i hooked the neg to where the blue wire is and the positive to where all the red wires are

Theres no fuses on this idk if the previous owners done anything and un hooked the ignition wrong cuz thats the first place i looked and this is what i seen

I only used the charger to test it before it kicked on with no battery

It was running at idel i was doing something it sounded like something shorted out nd the scoot just turnt off

That video confused me but thats all for a ac system i have a dc system.. Nd also my scooter as no key or a battery.. Thats why i tested it with a batter charger

Yea but correct me if im wrong if the engine wasnt grounded then i wouldnt of been able to hook the negitive to the engine and get the horn and lights to work correct?

I tested all that i hooked up a battery charger to the wires and had the dash lights and horn working.. To make sure the engine was grounded i hooked up the negitive right to the valve cover so i know its all grounded

On the 2 plug theres 2 wires and on the 4 plug its only 2 wires

I get a reading on every wire for the r/r except the Brown wire any one have any idea what that goes to? I only see it to the horn going into this box.. Also twisted up to some wires i belive where the ignition switch and stuff was hooked up to And also after watching the video i still dont know how to exactly test the stator conaidering mine looks different in connections

Also i re hooked up the test like to the 2 wires going into the coil and it seem to be dimmer then what it was at first

It had spark something happend.. But im getting power to the coil just not through the coil to the plug... I should be getting 12vdc going into the coil right?.. But how should i hook up the wire to the valve cover?

If im getting voltage to the cdi nd up to the ignition coil using a 12v test light shouldn't it spark when i plug the the coil in? Where would the engine ground be?
