damin69,
I put the 140/60-13 on my 250b just as Dr. JR suggested. It was close but I have had no problems. Are you sure the tire is rubbing on the motor? When I fired up my scoot to be sure everything was operating properly it did rub against the air intake box but I corrected that when I put the scooter back together.
I still have the 130/60-13 rear as well as the front tire with less than 300 miles on them. If you want my old Kendra (sp?) tires they are yours (or anyone else that may want them) for the shipping cost. I live just outside Boston, MA.

If you turn the handle bar all the way to either the left or right and look up under the cover you will see two screws that need to be removed in order to take off the cover.

Thanks for the info on the flasher! I needed a new flasher as I switched over to leds and the flash rate is almost at twice the rate it was with the bulbs.
Late last season the turn signal switch started acting up, it was difficult to turn on and almost impossible to shut off. I disassembled the switch and adjusted the small screw on the switch lever. Tighten the screw to much and it will not operate, I set the screw so it works properly but it loosens up and I am back where I started. I tried tightening the screw several times but it still loosens up and of course this always happens at the most inopertune time. Any suggestions are appreciated, I would rather repair than replace.

I have searched several parts sites and I cannot find a turn signal switch or a replacement flasher (two connection) that works with leds. I have 2008 205b with the linhai engine. Can anyone point me to a site that carries these parts? Thanks all!

Thanks alleyoop and Cruiser,
I did not change the belt, just the rollers (sans grease) to sliders. I read in the "manual" to adjust the belt tension after reinstallation but there was no mention as to how to make the tension adjustment.
Its raining today, I have no garage, Easter tomorrow, so next Saturday will be back-on-the-road day!
Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and your support!

I just installed new sliders (12g) and when I installed the variator I could not get the belt to tighten. There is some slack in the belt. Am I correct in assuming that when I fire up my scooter and the varaitor and clutch spin it will adjust itself? Or am I missing something in the reinstallation?
Thanks for any help!

Hi All,
I ordered the wrong wedge bulbs for my 250b instrument panel. The width needed is 5mm. Does anyone have a part number for the type needed?
I checked the super bright led website but I only got more confused.
I need them by next Saturdy, I can't wait for overseas shipping so I will need to order from a provider that can offer 1-2 day shipping.
Thanks.
