Note... I did drain the water out of the stator and cleaned it up before playing with it. I just want to get it started so I know it is not a far bigger problem than I am hoping.

Funny thing... I have the different version of the same scooter, and am having the same issue. I replaced the plug, the CDI, the battery, the fuse, and I have electric going through the system as all lights and signals work. There was water in the stator... does that HAVE to be changed in order to get it started? I am about to order some parts from ebay to replace some stuff, like the carb rebuild kit, but I don't want to bury myself financially with it. I am about to check the spark plug now for spark against the block. How hard are these things to tune?
