$1700 GRRRRRRR! Really though, thats a heck of a deal. I wish I could find a deal like that here, but I haven`t seen a single Ice Bear here on the island, let alone trike scooter. Congrats on that deal.
Called the online dealer and my Cyclone will probably be here in about 3 weeks. My Q6 gets here next week

Remember you drive it just like a car, so making a turn to fast will lift the outside wheel. Just use common sense making turns you will know when your making a turn to fast. Alleyoop Thank you so much I did`nt know that. I`ll be sure to remember that before I turn the key for the first time! I cant wait for the Q6 to get here so I can practice on it before the Cyclone gets here. It was supposed to have been put on the ship on saturday. Called the freight company today and they cant find it with me tracking number . Hopefully it will get here next week

Thanks for the info Alley. Does the 100lbs heavier mean it would be more stable around turns? I just watched a video with a guy riding and Ice Bear Cruiser lift a tire in a slow turn. Kinda scared me a little. Honestly, Im kind of jumping in with both feet wearing a blindfold. I still have to actually learn how to ride a trike. Davec, thanks for reminding me how much I really wanted a Zodiac! And how I had to settle for a Cyclone! hahaha Really though.... I actually wanted a Magnum, until I saw a pic of your Zodiac. According to specs, the Cyclone is about 2 inches shorter in length and about and inch shorter in wheelbase. BTW, I ordered it in burgandy.

Aloha Folks After clearing up my license problems (no..not a DUI), im going to attempt to take my motorcycle permit tomorrow. previously, I didn`t think I could get a license so I bought an 49cc Ice Bear Q6. Should be here next week hopefully. I haven`t rode a trike in about 20 years, and that was a little Honda, you know...the tiny ones with the rip cord?
Then I found out that I actually could get licensed again, so I ordered an 150cc Ice Bear Cyclone. I really wanted a Zodiac, but it`s a lil but out of my budget now that i already bought the q6. Girlfriend says we can get a zodiac later. I did as much research as I could find online about the cyclone (which is not much).
Can anyone tell me more about this trike? How fast this trike really can go? Im about 160lbs I`ve read so many conflicting specs on dealer sites as to top speed, anywhere from 50 - 65mph
Anything special or crucial that I should know about this trike?
I value all of your experience and knowledge, and I cant wait to share my future trike adventures.

I can't comment on yours but I have a modified bicycle trailer that probably wheighs about 60lbs. A neighbor borrowed it and pulled it with his 125cc scooter with no issues. But, the electric motor on my bike burned out. I could haul two baskets of laundry to the Laundromat or groceries and I had to go over an big overpass over the railroad tracks. Of course we have bicycle paths on most streets. Great idea thanks! I just gotta figure out how to attach it to the hitch.

Yeah I know they`re pretty slow LOL I weigh anywhere between 155 and 160lbs, and just hoping to get it to around 45mph Can you tell me where to start? I`ve been a gas, oil, and go kinda guy who will wrench little things, but nothing major. I tend to so send things to the shop. I was planning to getting this kit to start. Heck I dont even know if it`s the right stuff! LOL 52mm 105cc Big Bore Performance Kit A9 Cam CDI Carburetor GY6 50cc 139QMB 1P39QMThen maybe tires?

Thanks Alley. Thats a bummer because I was kinda excited about the ability to tow stuff. But all towing hopes aside, I was planning on upgades after I register it. I just want to be able to keep up with hwy traffic and not get killed out there. Im used to riding a SYM 2 stroke which really flys. I bought I tricked out and I can keep up with and sometimes pass cars doing 60mph. I dont even know whats it in it! LOL
I read somewhere that these trikes may show a 49cc on paper, but may actually have a 72cc? I dont even know where to start with the upgrades, but im reading up

Aloha I am trying to purchase an ice bear q6 and i noticed that it has a ball hitch on it. When i check the specs, it says max towing capacity is 66lbs. Does that sound right? And what could i possibly tow as all of the trailers ive ever worked with have been over 66lbs. Are there lighter ones? I dont think i could even tow my dog on a skateboard lol.
Your experience and knowledge are appreciated.

Yes Alley, I do expect shipping will be high. Just waiting on shipping quotes. Hopefully I`ll be able to afford it. If not, then my trike dream will end because I havent been able to find any dealers out here who sell trikes. Then i`ll probably just buy another SYM locally.
I did get it touch with Jim today and he was really cool and helpful. Hopefully he can hook me up with a Q6. Im ready! LOL

Thanks guys Your opinions and advice are greatly appreciated. I did try calling Rapid Repair, but no one picked up. Although the price on their website is $200 more than Joyride, I`ll try RR again tomorrow. I worked a little with Joyridemotors today and they did not have the burgandy that I wanted, so I guess i`ll settle for blue which is pretty nice too. Sorry I didn't pick up when you called, however, my answering machine is on 24/7, if you had left a message I would have called you back. I am a bit confused about your comment about my website price being $200.00 more than the "tad bit over $2500.00" price quote from joy ride. My website shows a $1999.00 price tag on the Q6 including shipping within the Continental US. Now shipping to Hawaii would be additional shipping and full assembly and PDI would add to the price. Sorry Jim, I ment the price before full assembly, and shipping. They offered me $1699.00 for the trike itself. Also sorry I did`nt leave a message. Ive always felt weird taking to machines. I`ll try calling again today. Thank you Read more: scooterdoc.proboards.com/thread/12531/ice-bear-q6-thoughts?page=1#ixzz43Ht7PZLw
