Thanks Cyborg. I ordered a pair of 10mm motorcycle mirrors and they should be here on monday. I really do hope they fit. If not, I`ll contact Jim because I kind of like the look of the stock mirrors, even though they feel like cheap plastic LOL.

Aloha Folks! Been bogged down with a real bad case of the flu so I haven`t checked out the forum in a couple weeks. Anyway..... I did manage to get my motorcycle learners permit, and my Ice Bear Cyclone came in last week.
Unlike my Ice Bear Q6, the assembly was pretty crappy with panels and parts of the dash not aligned very well. Oh well.
Anyway, it came with one of the mirrors broken. Not the actual glass part of the mirror, but the arm. Once screwed in, the upper part of the arm (it`s two pieces) the connects to the actual mirror wont line up correctly once tightened. It also sound like something is broken and moving around inside the mirror housing.
I have an appointment for a safety inspection in a few days, which i need in order to get it registered here in Hawaii, and im afraid that it wont pass inspection.
I tried swapping the mirrors with ones off an old GY6 moped, but the screw is too small. What size would fit?
Should I be looking for motorcycle mirrors?
Thank you in advance!

TO not scrap the bottom you have to get the rear wheel on and the front wheel then turn to get the other rear wheel as you go down the other side. Alleyoop Thanks Alley! I finally got the oportunity to try it today. It was a pretty high speed bump, but it worked out great! No scrapes.

Thank you, yes I used to do that with my Fiero and my Nissan 300z back in the day. I tried it today and scraped again.
We may need someone like davec , crwford, or Alley to give us their take on it since they own trikes and davec and crwford both have Zodiacs. The first place that I was going to take my Cyclone was to the shopping center, but unfortunately, the speed bumps there are just plain unavoidable. And these are some of the higher bumps you`ll find.
I never took notice as to how many speed bumps there are out there.
Although it scrapes, I still love riding this trike more than my two wheelers

Aloha folks I was out riding my Q6 today and i came up on a small speed bump. I stopped at the speed bump and proceeded to ride over it at crawling speed. As I went over I scraped the bottom of my trike. All though i did not see any damage, it made me kind of hesitant about taking the trikes to places where there are speed bumps in the parking lot.
The Ice Bear Q6 has a 5.1 inches ground clearance, and the Ice Bear Cyclone has an even lower 3.5 inch ground clearance.
I know its probably a dumb question, but is there a technique to going over these things without scraping? How do you guys do it? There are some parking lots where there just is no way to get around any of the speed bumps.
Thank you

If you have to LEAN going around a turn you are going to FAST. You have to use your common sense IF you have one and not take turns to fast. In wet weather making a turn to fast you may not lift a rear wheel BUT the front wheel may will slid out on you. The wobble can be caused by the rear axle not aligned. I align mine a point on each side of the axle with the inside of the center bar going across the frame. You can be 1/8 off and you will not notice that but 1/4 or more off it will wobble from side to side until you get up to speed. Also check your CASTLE NUTS on the rear hubs If you can grab them and wiggle the castle nut the axle has moved out and the whole wheel hub is loose on the axle that also will cause wobble. Alleyoop Thank you so much Alley. I will have my mechanic check those things you suggested. There is still a little wobble sometimes when taking off, and sometimes at slow speeds, but it`s either going away, or im not noticing it much anymore. I got the trike registered today, I just got back from a longer ride, and man I had alot of fun! More fun than I do on my two wheeler. Slowly getting the hang of things. It`s not the fastest thing on the road, but the more I ride it, the more I love this trike. I can wait to ride the Cyclone when it gets here!

Thanks for the tips Davec Its good to know that wobbles are to be expected. They kind of go away at around 20 mph. At least it feels less wobbly. Iv`e been taking off slow and cautiously so far. I`ll try more aggressive take offs. Is that cool to do while the trike is still breaking in?
I may take the tires off and take them to a tire shop for them to check balance.
Im starting to have alot of fun riding it now that im no longer fighting the steering. Even though it`s just up and down the street.
Question though. When I turn, im pushing and pulling. Do I lean out of the turn? I`m trying not to lift a wheel.

Thanks folks! I took it out to learn on it today. I cant really leave my street because I still have to register it next week. I found a wobble somewhere between 10 and 15mph. Anyone know what this could be?
I`m excited because im slowly getting used to driving the trike. I found that the trike is more manageable if I:
1. Relax 2. Release the death grip on the handle bar 3. Stop fighting the steering by not trying to correct every single little wobble 4. Use the push pull method for turns (although I did a couple one handed pulls)
I was watching one of Alley`s old videos last night and noticed how smooth the ride looked. I cant wait to ride like that!
Next week I will register the trike, and take my drivers and motorcycle learners permits. I actually flunked the tests earlier this week. (Hey its been over 30 years since i`ve taken a written drivers permit test)
For now, i`ll putt around up and down my street and learn how to ride this little trike until my Cyclone get here.

Thanks! I got it back tonight and took it for a spin down the block. OMG! Trikes are hard after years on a two wheeler! I only went down the block and back, and my arms were a little bit exhausted LOL. I felt every bump on the road, and every crack pulled me to one side of the road! I know I have to relax and steer, but it felt like I was fighting the steering due to some wobble. Im trying the push pull method. Good news is, he fixed the fuel indicator.

Aloha again! Dealer called me up today and said that Ice Bear is out of my first and second choice of colors for my Cyclone (Burgandy and Silver). Was kinda bummed out and settled for blue. The rep did say that the cyclone should ship out this week and I should get it next week sometime (hopefully). Then about 10 minutes later I get a call from the delivery company saying that my Ice Bear Q6 will be delivered within the hour! It arrived well crated, but had a couple of small nicks in the paint, and the front tire was very low on air. No biggie as im not a hard guy to please. It would not start! Well I looked through the owners manual which mentioned something called a "Fuel Cock" . I looked over the trike and could not find this fuel cock LOL. So I called my mechanic and he came over and choked it and it started right up! I do see a problem with the dash though. The fuel level indicator keeps blinking, even though the tank is full. Any ideas on a cause or a fix? As i`m typing this, the trike is at my mechanic`s shop (he wrenches all of my bikes), he is working on tightening up all of the bolts and whatever else to get it ready to roll. (not sure if he can fix the blinking fuel indicator) Says he should be done later tonight. In the meantime, here`s a couple of pics of the Ice Bear Q6 50cc before the windshield and trunk gets slapped on. Thanks for taking the time to check out my first trike! I cant wait to ride it.

If your going to go on the Freeway I would get at LEAST a 250cc. I can tell you what it would take to get it to 55-60mph but as you know if the speed limit is 55 the traffic is doing 65 always 10mph more than the speed limit. Running a 150 at those speeds for long periods of time the differentials on the 150s are not built for that. I have a 150 which will do over 60mph but only for short runs. Around here I go on roads that are 45 mph and the traffic is always doing 55mph so my trike is able to keep up with the traffic and not hold them up, but even though it will go faster I will not take it on the freeway. The freeway is 55 and the traffic is doing 65-70mph. Just being honest with you I would not RECOMMEND using it on the freeway. Alleyoop Thank you Alley. I never thought of the differentials. I`ll stick to the roads that are 35-45. They can get me anywhere on this little island anyway. SoI guess I`ll just wait untill I can get my Zodiac before attempting anything crazy. Im so excited to get out on the road on a trike! I was told the Cyclone hopefully will ship out from Ice Bear this week, and my Ice Bear Q6 is supposed have arrived at the dock in Honolulu today. Shipping company says it takes 3-4 days to unload, then they will call to arrange home delivery. The wait is killin me! LOL

It is one of the heaviest 150cc trikes Ice Bear Sells at least 100lbs heavier than any of the other 150cc trikes. As for speed all the 150s will do is about a REAL 50mph and don't believe the speedos they will register at least 10-20% higher than the real mph. STOCK if anyone that says theirs will do 65 maybe in KMH but not in MPH. Alleyoop Can you suggest anything I could do to it to get it up to between 55-60mph? I would like to be able to take it on the freeway, preferably without getting killed.

Was looking around a found the Ice Bear GEMINI. It looks like a smaller version of the Zodiac! Is it an older or discontinued model? Because I only found a couple of sites that sell them. That would have been really cool!
