Ice Bear Q6 Thoughts? By johnjohn808 (Read 907 times)

Aloha Everyone,


New here.


To preserve my older SYM DD50 (roughly 3500 miles), and for more stability, I`ve been looking into purchasing a trike.



I was about to order one of the many chinese trikes that all look alike.

Then I saw the Ice Bear Q6 50cc in burgandy and I really really dig the look of these things! I have not seen any of these out here yet, let alone any dealers here who sell trikes.



So I googled, visited all the dealer site that I could and made some calls (not many of them picked up the phone) for pricing, full assembly, and shipping quotes to get it here to Hawaii. Those that did answer the phone have quoted me $600 to ship and deliver to my front door.



As of today, I have decided on going with joyridemotors.com / countymotors.com

They will get it delivered to me in about three weeks, fully assembled for just a tad bit over $2500.00



Anyway, before I blah blah blah to much, can any of you give me your opinions on the Ice Bear Q6 50cc?



And has anyone delt with this dealer before, and if so, are they legit?

I ask because the Q6 is not listed on their websites, but the sales rep that I spoke to, said that they do have it in stock.



Im looking to order either tomorrow or the next day.

Your opinions and experiences will be a big help.

I think if I would have ordered any model I would call or email Rapid Repair who is listed above and is a Ice Bear Dealer and will help you weather he sell to you are not

Yep the Q6 is a very nice looking trike, really decked out.

Your opinions and advice are greatly appreciated.

I did try calling Rapid Repair, but no one picked up.
Although the price on their website is $200 more than Joyride, I`ll try RR again tomorrow.
I worked a little with Joyridemotors today and they did not have the burgandy that I wanted, so I guess i`ll settle for blue which is pretty nice too.

I am a bit confused about your comment about my website price being $200.00 more than the "tad bit over $2500.00" price quote from joy ride. My website shows a $1999.00 price tag on the Q6 including shipping within the Continental US. Now shipping to Hawaii would be additional shipping and full assembly and PDI would add to the price.

Shipping to Hawaii is going to cost you no 2 ways about it. Jim supports his customers and is a knowledgeable mechanic, has a shp and tools works on scoots and cars while others are just sit behind the desk and take orders they know nothing about what your getting let alone if something goes wrong they are clueless.

I ment the price before full assembly, and shipping.
They offered me $1699.00 for the trike itself.

Also sorry I did`nt leave a message.
Ive always felt weird taking to machines.

Yes Alley,
 I do expect shipping will be high. Just waiting on shipping quotes. Hopefully I`ll be able to afford it.
If not, then my trike dream will end because I havent been able to find any dealers out here who sell trikes.
Then i`ll probably just buy another SYM locally. 

I did get it touch with Jim today and he was really cool and helpful.
Hopefully he can hook me up with a Q6.
