hi i have a 2008 rhon icebear venice my speedometer is off by 10 mph , would it help or fix the problem by buying a New Speedometer Speedo Drive Gear i have 10 inch wheels and the motor is a 150 cc gy6 motor if so what is the right one to buy

alley this is mrgigabytes scooter we are speaking of its not that kind of feeling its almost like a vibration type feeling not like a surge in idle at all like the motor feels ruff and its the rear brake by the way when i do it with the front brake i dont feel it
like to add that we did do a iridium plug a performance cdi and the performance coil you think something there doing it ? couldnt really say if it was doing that before any upgrades because it seems to run a little bit ruff at idle but nothing terrible

Ok, that means it is being fed from the Stator not the battery, So then I would suspect the switch or bad connection at the socket or blown bulb. If blown I would check the voltage being put out at high rpms if more than 15 volts then your R/R is not regulating the voltage and or you may need a RELAY to bring down the voltage. Alleyoop i do have high beams but no low beams so voltage being put out at high rpms would it blown out high beam also or just low beam i have only one bulb for high and low |

Tell me this WITH JUST THE KEY ON WERE YOU ABLE TO HAVE THE HI AND LOW BEAM or only one of them? Only way one would know is if one had the same scooter and or the manual and the manual described how they work. It all depends on how that model is wired. Take my 2009 Trike, ALL the LIGHTS WORK OFF THE BATTERY, the only thing that the R/R is doing is charging the battery. I can turn on the KEY and have ALL THE LIGHTS on or just the instrument panel lights and running light on, if if push the switch all the way to the left my HEADLIGHTS come on MOTOR NOT RUNNING. Alleyoop no lights with key just on nothing at all , motor running my lights are then on |

the lights are normal i told that to my brother in law for getting brighter what i want to know is right now i have only hi beam were thinking because i brought a new bulb and it work hi and low and then we were going for a ride and low beam blown out again or not working i only have hi beam again so i just brought a new Right Integrated Switch for GY6 50cc 150cc Scooter Moped hoping that is the problem

right now this also should be happen but it does not thats also telling us its the switch but we figure we would see if you guys know

hey alley this is icebear2009's brother in law lol nice to meet you by the way
question regarding my scooter and i know you will know the answer i have a 2008 icebear rhon venice 150cc and my low beam headlight was not working so i bought a brand new bulb same wattage and everything put it in it worked great on low and high beam then noticed right before geting ready to take a ride i seen that low beam was no longer working ...? all wires intact not shorts anywhere .....but one thing that gets me and when i give it throttle the light does get brighter could that be a problem like its giving it more voltage or something to it ...... i did see a another thread someone saying that was normal but ...... any ideal what i could do to fix or look at
ps i did just order a new right hand light control kill switch to see if that will elimate the issue
