hi i have a 2008 rhon icebear venice my speedometer is off by 10 mph , would it help or fix the problem by buying a New Speedometer Speedo Drive Gear i have 10 inch wheels and the motor is a 150 cc gy6 motor if so what is the right one to buy

buying a new gear may not help as all chinese speedometers are "off".

Maybe I got a good theory anyone else chime in .....what about if he got a speedo Puck from a Yamaha scooter or a little Italian scooter think that might help ....if it were the right size anyways

I think that might be the idea, matching puck gears with tire circumference. he might have better luck with a different tire size.

Just kicks I will toss this out there: On my old 08 150 the speedo also was off. But it was just fine up to about 35, then It was off more and more as the speed went up. The last tire on the front I stuck the next size larger and it was pretty close at 60 but off at 35 and lower.

The only way out side of an electronic speedo I could see was to repaint the dial face and use transfer numbers that you put in place and rub with a hard blunt object.

I agree with trash,,different tire size is the way to go,,,and all scooter speedos are optimistic,,,by a bunch,,,and jct just brought up a very good idea,ref ace the speedo,,,not such a bad idea after all,,,,lots of beefing about the speedos being off by a mile
