Sorry I forgot to mention that the mileage on the scooter is 3200 miles original belt I believe ...ill be pulling the cover off after work yo check the problems out ....
And yes on alley very smart guy totally missed but just hoping everything is good with him atleast

Yeah I remember reading and possibly responding to that post ...that's the last time I ever heard from him ...I even asked the one guy that redid his trike build for him and he has not heard anything either

OK guys and girls I haven't been here in a while but couple quick questions ...I picked up my wife a 150cc icebear scooter 2009 and everything was running great then out of no where she was like I smell rubbing burning and I took it for a ride and sure enough I think the belt snapped smoke was coming from engine cover ..haven't took cover off yet but bike runs just wont go anywhere ....why would the belt just go just like that ?
Also last question just as important anyone ever here anything from alleyoop ?

ok guys and girls my fried has some issues with his scooter between 40-50mpg he seems to be skipping a little bit but only when its warm its fine when its cold but acts up when its warm he is thinking its the cdi box but cant seem to find any right information to get a new one ordered .... he did try to order one and it was the ac style one and popped and smoked and soon as he plugged it in ...could it be the dc style one ?
his head light turn signals horn etc all work with just the key turned to the on postion .....
anyone have pics or anything that can help verify which one he has

Yes the h11 single beam setup is well worth it ...go see if a store has one on display that is working or look up pics they are mad bright trust me I get on pitch black streets and I can see clear to the other end of the street

No the h11 is not a standard bulb ...the standard bulb was a junky 35w Chinese bulb ....I bought a h11 piggy tail and put in new h11 bulb 55w super bright

I have been running a h11 zxe sylvania hologen in mine with no problems what so ever and its a 55 Watt and my headlight housing is very small ...I have a Chinese look a like to the lance Venice

I have a standard 13x3.50 tire on my scooter now what's the biggest tire that will fit the rim and clear the motor ofcourse

Maybe I got a good theory anyone else chime in .....what about if he got a speedo Puck from a Yamaha scooter or a little Italian scooter think that might help ....if it were the right size anyways

My brother in law has a 150cc scooter with 10" rims and we need to change out the shoes
Can't seem to find shoes for 10" when I look them up does anyone know the diameter of them is it 105mm or 125mm
