The variator on the 150 is unique in that is sealed by a rubber O ring. The service manual call for 25-30 grams of lithium grease on the moving plate of the variator.

reviving an old thread...
i just purchased an elite 150 deluxe with 11k miles. I have not been able to find any info directly from honda on the weight for the 150. I have read where the weight of the 250's is 22gr. I pulled mine and they are weighing on a digital scale at a whopping 26grams! I don't know if they are factory or not.
I was running a good 62mph on flats with the current config.
Based on what i read it looks like most people are putting 11 or 12 gram rollers in. I'm going to install 12's and see what happens.
